Muse and Improved at CES 2015

If any of our Vegas-based (or from anywhere, really) Musers are reading this, we’d like to let you know that Muse: the brain sensing headband is once again participating in the 2015 International CES, currently underway in Las Vegas, Nevada. During the four-day event, CES attendees will get to meet the team, demo a major update to the Muse application, and get an exclusive preview of some new and exciting features due out this year.

2014 was a stellar year for Muse, with over 15,000 units sold since its retail launch in August. (Christmas was a record day for Musing with over 1,400 sessions completed as people gave – and received – the gift of a better brain). We are excited to continue the momentum, and our appearance at CES is sure to set those wheels in motion.

If you can make it out, our booth is #73510 and we’re located in the Sands Expo Hall in the Digital Health Zone. It’s a 20×20 space divided into 4 main areas: A living room, a home office, a zen garden/yoga studio, and a demo zone, with each space representing an aspect of your daily life in which Muse can be used.

app upgrade

We’ll be rolling out some exciting upgrades to our flagship app. In addition to giving users the option of training in different immersive environments, users will also get real-time audio feedback, multilingual support, more fun ways to track progress and gain more personal insights. At the moment, these upgrades will only be revealed to attendees of CES 2015, but plans to unveil the changes and other new product offerings are in the works for the months ahead. If you keep your eye on the press this week, you might even catch a peek of the updated app in action.

Our company’s founders will be available to chat with attendees and our Brand Ambassadors will be on-hand to give live demos; we will also have a feature on our partners, BackJoy and Sennheiser at the booth, with product displays and a 30-minute presentation from BackJoy CEO, Bing Howenstein.

On January 7th, Muse CEO Ariel Garten will speak at two conferences – Our Brave New World of Digital Health: The  Empowering our Superminds at 1pm in the Venetian Ballroom H, Level 2; she will also be speaking at Wearables for Women, which starts at 4:30pm in the Venetian Ballroom, Level 2, Bellini 2006.

Like we said earlier, if you’re from the area, or happen to be in town for CES, swing on by the Muse booth to escape the chaos of the tradeshow floor. It would be great to meet with our enthusiasts – and we might even throw in some awesome swag!

Looking forward to meeting everyone!
